THREE English Premier League soccer players face up to 14 years in a Spanish jail if convicted of rape.

Leicester City's Paul Dickov, Frank Sinclair and Keith Gillespie spent their third night in custody after an investigating judge accused them yesterday of "sexual aggression with penetration".
The charges were laid after three women tourists claimed they were attacked by a group of men who forced their way into a bedroom at the exclusive La Manga Club on Monday.

Legal sources in Spain suggested they could be held on remand for up to 18 months before being brought to trial.

Six other Leicester players arrested on Wednesday have been freed by the court in Cartagena. It was made clear, however, that five of them remained under investigation.

fvcking animals, these rapists should be put away for good, getting shitfaced drunk and picking fights, wrecking things, and being obnoxious is generally the modus vivendi of the british lower middle class or proletariat when abroad. I 've witnessed this myself time and again on holidays in greece, they are by far the worst type of tourists. But rape is much more serious matter and i hope the spain judicial system treats it with the appropriate seriousness and severity.

and in (yet another) testament of typical british arrogance and their disregard for international law, Leicester East MP Keith Vaz, said, "They should be allowed to return and continue their lives". Excuse me? Continue their lives? Since when have bellow average footballers become immune to normal judiciary procedures?

"Chief executive of the Professional Footballers Association, Gordon Taylor, said the media had a tendency to "blow up" such allegations because of the "pop star" status of players."
Come again? Dickov, Sinclair and Gillespie, pop stars? They are nobodies...

To add insult to injury, in a masterful fascistic cencorship move bbc has decided to silence any opionions on the issue on their online forum:

"Moderation update
Posts referring to the incident in Spain are being removed due to legal reasons.
This is a policy decision and will not change until events in the story change. "

Fascist pricks.
